Abstract: The specific aims of this proposal are:

(1) to investigate the association between anthropometric measurements or changes in body weight and prostate cancer mortality. Are obese men at higher risk of prostate cancer? Is weight gain before age 50 years associated with increased prostate cancer mortality?, and

(2) to study the relationship between occupational physical activity and leisure-time physical activity, and prostate cancer mortality. Is work-related physical activity protective against prostate cancer? Are sedentary Puerto Rican men at higher risk of prostate cancer mortality? Is vigorous intensity physical activity protective against prostate cancer mortality?
