SOPHAS Fee Assistance
If you are applying to a graduate program using SOPHAS, SOPHAS offers fee assistance to qualified low income students, students who have participated in some service-based organizations (AmeriCorps, McNair, Peace Corps, Gates Millennium Scholars, Vietnam Education Foundation, and Leadership Alliance). Some international students may also be eligible.
UB Graduate Application Fee Waiver
Applicants who provide sufficient documentation of their participation as an undergraduate student in an EOP, HEOP or SEEK program within New York State (only), or as an undergraduate participant in the CSTEP, MARC, PREP, RISE, LSAMP or McNair Scholars programs on any campus, or as an applicant through Project 1000, may qualify.

Transportation Costs
An additional cost to consider is transportation. A valid driver’s license and a car are required for the Dietetic Internship with Master of Science in Nutrition. An estimate for mileage up to 60 miles each way for field placements. Parking fees vary by site and are the responsibility of the student.
Scholarship and Student Assistance Fund Information
Interns taking a minimum of 6 graduate credits may be eligible for the Annette Rachman Fund, the Glenda R. Reardon Student Assistance Fund and the Cathy Davius Memorial Award.
