Project name: Resilience in Action: Strengthening Disaster Preparedness for People who are Incarcerated

Project goals: For our study titled "Resilience in Action: Strengthening Disaster Preparedness for People who are Incarcerated" we will be using legal epidemiology and policy surveillance tools to capture statewide policies and preparedness plans for carceral facilities across all counties in New York.

Project tasks: Activities will involve identifying all prisons and jails across the state and gaining access to their disaster preparedness plans through web searches and contacting county officials and extracting qualitative data on preparedness plans.
