In the Epidemiology MPH program, you'll study the frequency, distribution and determinants of human diseases and injuries in populations to design evidence-based interventions that improve health outcomes.
Through this program, you will learn and practice foundational public health knowledge and competencies, as well as epidemiological, statistical, research and survey methods to help discover and address determinants—including biological, behavioral, social and organizational—of diseases and injuries.
As a practitioner with training in core public health principles, you will also be involved with advocacy, planning, programming, implementation or evaluation for disease prevention and health promotion of populations. You will be prepared to work in a wide range of settings, including
