Summary

Gauri Desai, PhD, MPH, is an environmental epidemiologist with training in epidemiology and microbiology.

Her research interests are primarily in the area of environmental epidemiology and global health, focusing on understanding the impact of environmental toxins on children's growth and development. She is also interested in understanding the role of diet in mitigating the toxicity of environmental exposures. She teaches undergraduate courses related to global health, epidemiology, general public health, as well as maternal and child health.
