Lina Mu, PhD, was appointed director in 2017 and has served as associate director since 2014. Mu specializes in environmental epidemiology, air and water pollution, and cancer molecular epidemiology. She joined the UB Department of Epidemiology and Environmental Health in the School of Public Health and Health Professions in 2008.
Jennifer coordinates program activities engaging faculty, staff, students and community partners in advancing sustainable solutions to global health problems. She recently taught courses including Health and Healing in Global Perspectives and coordinated many community-based learning projects focused on global and local health concerns and education. A graduate of UB and Cornell University, Jennifer holds a PhD and MA in Anthropology.
