Creating a World of Change
Our mission is to identify, engage in and advance innovative and sustainable solutions to significant global health problems. We achieve our mission through collaborative, interprofessional approaches to teaching, research and service for populations and individuals.
Housed within the University at Buffalo School of Public Health and Health Professions, we promote and coordinate global health opportunities in the school.
Our Goals and Objectives
- To create awareness, understanding and a vibrant dialogue around global health within the university and our larger communities.
- To develop and advance scientific research and learning concerning global health problems, and to promote rapid translation of research findings for the benefit of global populations.
- To develop and promote student leaders as champions for solutions to global health problems in collaboration with international partners through service learning opportunities.
- To develop and promote faculty leaders as champions for direct engagement with international partners to find inter-disciplinary solutions to global health problems.
