Shiba completed her Bachelor of Pharmacy at Mumbai University, India, before coming to UB. She currently works as a research intern with UB's School of Public Health and Health Professions and plans to pursue a doctorate in epidemiology.
Areas of interested include global health, infectious disease epidemiology, maternal and child healthcare.
Kelly earned her PhD in 2014 and is currently a research scientist at Michigan Technological Institute in the Kinesiology and Integrative Physiology department in Houghton, MI.
Areas of interested include tobacco research, including cross-country disparities in use and other tobacco products, such as hookah.
Areas of interested include cancer epidemiology, environmental epidemiology, air pollution.
Areas of interested include physical therapy, global health, pediatric health, exercise and nutrition.
Anne is currently a research scientist with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
Areas of interested include refugee health, cultural competency, care coordination and effective healthcare delivery.
Wit is currently a faculty member in the Epidemiology Unit, at Prince of Songkla University in southern Thailand. He is also a consultant for a UN agency, thanks to the experience and contacts he gained while working and doing fieldwork for Dr. Pavani Ram in Malawi.
