Projects are being conducted around the world by faculty from the School of Public Health and Health Professions. Students have the opportunity to assist with research related to malaria, obesity, and community health to name a few.
Faculty study the practice and care that seeks to restore, improve or extend capabilities that people have lost or never fully developed, because of injury, disease, age or disability.
Faculty focus on understanding the determinants and prevention of disease, on the role of environmental factors in health and disease and on the administration of health programs to implement that understanding.
