Project name: Neuroplasticity with brain stimulation

Project goals: Our project aims to apply neurostimulation to improve motor function in people with spinal cord injury and elderly population. We will assess neurophysiological changes as well as functional changes after the application of neurostimulation.

Project tasks: This project involves cutting-edge neuromodulation techniques using transcranial magnetic stimulation as rehabilitation intervention. Students will learn about different types of stimulation applied to target connections in the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves during the project and help with data collection and data analyses.

Duration of research experience: Summer, Fall

Time commitment: 10-20 hours per week

Will this be in person or remote: Lab in Kimball Tower
