Aaron Anderson.

Aaron Anderson

Aaron Anderson is currently a junior in the honors college pursuing a degree in Biological Sciences with a concentration in neuroscience and a minor in psychology. He intends to pursue a career in health care. Outside of school, Aaron has done extracurricular activities such as FIMRC (Foundation of International Medical Relief for Children), a nonprofit organization where he got to travel to Peru and provide health services to kids in need. Aaron is also involved in an organization called Fresh Water friends that helps raise money for wells in towns in India that are far away from a fresh water source. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and being outside.

Amanda Atkins

Atkins is a senior studying psychology, and plans to pursue a career in the medical field. She is passionate about volunteering as a firefighter and EMT in her hometown of Clarence Center, NY. Atkins spends her free time being physically active, and catching up on Grey's Anatomy. 

Ilona Belous

Belous is a sophomore pursuing an exercise science degree, with plans to complete the doctorate of physical therapy. She is especially interested in working overseas as a physical therapist for some period of time. Belous enjoys volunteering at Ten Thousand Villages, a local non-profit store. In her free time, she enjoys bike riding, pursuing photography and trying new things.

Hanna Corrasco

Carrasco is a senior from New Jersey studying pharmacology and toxicology. She plans to either continue to graduate school for a masters in Pharmaceutical Sciences, or into an osteopathic medical school. Outside of her research and studies, she is an active member of UB Quidditch, and likes to read, crochet and draw in her spare time.

Cherrelle Dorleans

Dorleans is a senior studying cultural anthropology. She plans to pursue a career in the realm of public health. Dorleans is greatly interested in health education, specifically sexual health. She loves volunteering, mentoring and engaging in hands on research. Dorleans enjoys immersing with her Caribbean background, zumba, writing poetry, traveling abroad and staying connected to her hometown of Queens, New York.

Jennifer Everdyke

Jennifer Everdyke is currently completing her dietetic internship through the University at Buffalo, as well as her master of science in exercise science. She has a bachelor of arts from SUNY New Paltz in french, anthropology, and communication media production, as well as a bachelor of science in nutrition management from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). She has many different fitness/nutrition certifications and has had a variety of related experience including working at as a personal trainer in the Fitness Lab at RIT, a fitness instructor at the YMCA of Greater Rochester, and a dietetic assistant at St. Ann's Care Center in Rochester. Outside of school, Jennifer teaches a Pre-K Sunday school class at Northridge Church, instructs Zumba at the YMCA and optimistically cheers on the Buffalo Bills.

Brittany Ewing

Ewing is a junior from East Amherst, NY studying biomedical sciences. She wishes to pursue a career in the medical field. Ewing is very interested in specializing in ophthalmology or pediatrics and enjoys volunteering at local hospitals. In her spare time, Ewing enjoys skiing, playing tennis and occasionally practicing her violin.

Alessia Galante

Galante is currently a junior pursuing a degree in biological sciences, and she wishes to attend physician assistant school. She is particularly interested in orthopedics. Outside of academics, Alessia enjoys doing CrossFit with her family, as well as Olympic weightlifting, and spending time with her dog, Remy.

Jenna Greenstein Alessia

Jenna is currently a junior pursuing a Biological Science major at the University at Buffalo. She plans to attend dental school following her undergraduate studies. Specifically, Jenna hopes to become a Pediatric Orthodontist. In addition to her studies, Jenna currently works at a sleep away camp each summer where she cares for young children and adolescents. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, playing soccer, snowboarding, spending time with friends and family, and focusing on her studies.

Paramveer (Pam) Kaur

Paramveer Kaur (Pam) Kaur is a senior pursuing a medicinal chemistry degree, and wishes to pursue a career in the medical field. She is especially interested in specializing in pediatrics. Outside of academics, Kaur is an active member of Alpha Phi Omega, a national coeducational service organization. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and trying different types of desserts. 

Rehma Malik

Rehma Malik is currently a senior at the University at Buffalo, majoring in Biomedical Sciences and minoring in Psychology. She wishes to pursue a career in the medical field, and is especially interested in Pediatrics. Outside of academics, Rehma has done many extracurricular activities such as doing research at the Oishei Children's Hospital of Buffalo, volunteering at the Lighthouse Free Medical Clinic and Amherst Senior Center, as well tutoring Syrian refugees. In her free time, she likes to bake, travel, watch TV shows, and spend time with family and friends.

Lexi Muniak

Muniak is a psychology major with goals of pursuing a graduate degree in counseling psychology and psychotherapy. She aspires to study and work in the field of mental health. Outside of her academics, she is passionate about volunteering at the Distress Centre of Niagara where she assists and provides remote support to individuals in crisis and life threatening situations. Muniak caught the travel bug during her trip to the Dominican Republic, where she volunteered with the Dominican Canadian Community Development Group (DCCD), an experimental educational program with a strong emphasis on social justice and environmental issues. Along with volunteering, spending quality time with her friends and family, is what she enjoys doing most.

Teresa Sion.

Teresa Sion

A Buffalo native, Sion is pursuing a bachelor's degree in nursing. She plans on continuing on to graduate school to become a nurse practitioner. Sion has been working in the Nutrition and Health Research Lab since 2012. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading, spending time with friends and family and watching movies.

Danielle Toohey

Toohey is a junior in the Occupational Therapy BS/MS program. She has a special interest in focusing her career on the neurology side of rehabilitative sciences. Outside of academics, Toohey is an active member in UB's Leadership & Service Club and Occupational Therapy Club. In her free time, loves soccer, reading, hiking and reruns of Criminal Minds.

Karina Vattana

Vattana is a senior pursuing dual degrees in biomedical sciences and Spanish with a minor in pharmacology and toxicology. She is currently completing the medical school application process. In her free time, Vattana loves playing soccer and running. 

Kailey Zhu

Kailey Zhu is currently a senior that is pursing a psychology major at the University at Buffalo. She also has two minors in Public Health and Health & Wellness. Kailey is interested in health promotion and wellness education. She aspires to help improve quality of life and reduce health problems among the population. Kailey is also a stress management intern that educate students on stress reduction techniques. During her free time, she likes to practice self-care and explore nature.
