Abstract: The purpose of this pilot study is: 1) to determine the acceptability and feasibility of collecting maternal and neonatal stool and maternal breast milk samples for microbiome analysis in a sample of maternal/neonate pairs in Kenya, and 2) to compare the gut and breast milk microbiome composition from samples collected using varying methods.
