The School of Public Health and Health Professions and the Department of Community Health and Health Behavior offer fully accredited online programs. These programs meet your needs for advancing your career on your own time. 

  • The Online MPH is for professionals who want to take their career to the next level through virtual learning and by customizing their program to meet their unique interests and career objectives. You can select from the following degree options:
  • The Advanced Certificate in Public Health is a 16-credit online program that provides foundational training in public health. These 16 credits can be fully applied to the online Individualized Master of Public Health (MPH) program. 

    Seated and hybrid versions of the certificate program are also available.

Micro-Credential in Eliminating Health Inequities

The Department of Community Health and Health Behavior offers a micro-credential in eliminating health inequities to provide students with the skills they need to combat health disparities in their communities. A micro-credential can work for you in two ways:

  1. as an enrolled student, you can complete the additional requirements to give your resume an added boost in the field of health equity or
  2. as a community member who works in non-profit and for-profit agencies, you can gain portfolio-building experience to get a step ahead with your career objectives. All students enrolled in the micro-credential must have completed an undergraduate degree.
