The Department of Rehabilitation Science is dedicated to:
- Advancing knowledge through research in the disciplines of occupational therapy and physical therapy;
- Developing students and practitioners in these and other health professions; and
- Developing meaningful interdisciplinary collaborations in education, research and practice that promote and improve the health of people across the region, country and world.

The department’s mission is to advance knowledge of Rehabilitation Science through education, research, and service in the disciplines of Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and related health disciplines. We are dedicated to preparing a diverse and inclusive community that engages in interprofessional collaborations to promote and improve the health and well-being of people regionally, nationally, and globally.
