UB’s Global Health Day Symposium brought together experts from WHO, NIH and UB to discuss the next stages of response to the pandemic.
Results are based on an extensive, 18-year study involving more than 7,000 people and a detailed examination of the air pollution they encountered between 2000 and 2018.
Study's findings on nitrogen dioxide suggest that China's air pollution standard for NO2 may need to be re-evaluated.
UB-led research is first to report an association between long-term exposure to ozone and atherosclerosis.
