Competencies

Competencies describe activities or behaviors you should be able to demonstrate after completing your program.

  • Communicate statistics information effectively to an identified audience in writing and orally
  • Work with probability and random variables in practice and in theory
  • Use and explain basic theories of statistical inference
  • Use and explain linear (simple and multiple) and logistic regression
  • Use and explain group comparison procedures
  • Use one or more statistical packages to perform standard analyses
