Do I need to make an appointment?

Walk-ins are welcome, but we highly recommend scheduling an appointment to ensure you get the time slot that works best for you. Walk-in availability may be limited depending on the day and location.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Please bring a valid ID.

Are there any costs for using the mobile health unit?

No, all services provided by the mobile health unit are completely free of charge. There are no out-of-pocket costs for any services, as we aim to make healthcare accessible to everyone in the community.

How do I cancel or reschedule my appointment?

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact Health on Wheels at least 24 hours in advance by calling (716) 829-5550 or emailing mobilehealth@buffalo.edu. This will help accommodate other patients.

Is the mobile health unit accessible for people with disabilities?

Yes, the mobile health unit is wheelchair accessible and offers support for individuals with mobility challenges. If you need any special accommodations, please notify the Health on Wheels team in advance when scheduling your appointment.

Can I bring my children or family members with me?

Yes, you are welcome to bring family members, including children, to your appointment. Again, walk-ins are welcome but appointments are recommended.
