Jackson was nominated by a University of Buffalo faculty member for her leadership abilities and her positive and enthusiastic outlook toward public health and higher education. She is in the Department of Epidemiology and Environmental Health.

In this role, Jackson will represent SPHHP on national webinars with prospective students and help manage ASPPH social media accounts to promote the field and SPHHP programs, keeping SPHHP in the forefront of national recruitment efforts. As an ambassador, she will also have opportunities to network with others in the profession across the nation.

The TIPH Ambassador program was established in 2017 by ASPPH and has since amplified and highlighted the inspiring stories and extraordinary experiences of participating institutions’ best students. As an exceptional graduate student, nominated by UB’s School of Public Health and Health Professions, Jackson will play a crucial role in fostering interest in public health education and career opportunities.
