44 credits completed in four semesters full-time or up to eight semesters part-time
Transferring Credits
Up to 9 credits of applicable graduate coursework previously completed may be transferred to your MPH; subject to approval by your MPH director.

You will be assigned an advisor in your first semester to guide you throughout your program.

- Fall Admissions
- Domestic: DEADLINE EXTENDED - August 3*
- International: March 1
*You must submit the SOPHAS application by this date. Supporting materials including letters of recommendation, transcripts, and transcript evaluations (if applicable) must be submitted no later than August 15th
- Summer Admissions
- Domestic students only: May 1
- Spring Admissions
- Domestic: Dec. 1
- International: Nov. 1
Students are reviewed holistically based on all accomplishments and qualifications.
- Applicants should have:
- Bachelor's degree with 3.0 GPA or above
- Coursework in:
- Health-related sciences (biology, nutrition, anatomy)
- Social sciences (sociology, psychology, political science, anthropology)
- Statistics or other quantitative methods
- GRE scores are not required and will not be considered

How long does it take to earn an MPH?
The MPH can be completed in 4 semesters full-time or up to 8 semesters part-time.
Can I transfer credit from courses taken elsewhere?
Yes, up to 9 credits for appropriate graduate courses may be transferred. Your program director will approve eligible transfer credits.
Can I earn credit for work experience?
Yes. Students with relevant work experience may be able to complete MPH field training at their place of employement, or replace field training with another elective; subject to program director approval.

Our graduates get hired! Since 2016, our MPH graduate job placement rate has been nearly 100%. Is the school accredited?
Yes, this program is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH), an independent agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit public health schools and programs. Our graduates are eligible for the Certified in Public Health (CPH) credential through the National Board of Public Health Examiners.
