Rehabilitation Science Hooding Ceremony

The annual Department of Rehabilitation Science Hooding Ceremony is reserved for candidates who have attained academic degrees beyond a bachelor’s degree. Faculty members place the hood on the graduate, signifying success in completing the graduate program.

Registration opens in February 2024

Graduating DPT students and BS/MS OT students must  register to attend. Registration opens in February.

The Hooding Ceremony is separate from the SPHHP Commencement Ceremony. Each event has its own separate registration page.

Guests

Slee Hall has a seating capacity for each graduate to bring up to six guests. Attendance is free. This event is not ticketed.

Photography

A photographer will be present at the Hooding ceremony. Photographs will be made available to view and download on this page.
