Clinical and Applied Learning Experiences

Applied experience is the centerpiece of your Sports Science education. The program culminates in a 12-credit, full semester internship that places you with a professional, collegiate, or elite sporting environment where you will function as a member of the performance science staff.

• Collect, process, and analyze training and competition data using techonlogy systems
• Design and deliver data reports and dashboards to medical and strength and conditioning staffs as well as coaches
• Conduct athlete testing protocols and communicate results within an interdisciplinary team
• Support training load management, readiness monitoring, and return-to-play decisions
• Contribute to periodization programming and season planning based on performance science evidence
