Public health is a growing and dynamic field addressing the world’s most pressing health problems. It is a combination of the science and art of advancing health for individuals, families, communities, and populations through education, promotion of healthy behaviors, and research for disease and injury prevention.

The Bachelor’s of Science (BS) in Public Health provides foundations for a future career in the fields of health care or public health. Many entry-level jobs working at health care organizations or public health agencies can be obtained with this degree. Some students seek to fast-track immediately into graduate training in public health and this program offers this opportunity.

The Master of Public Health (MPH) provides additional knowledge and skills sought by employers in the fields of health care and public health, and is ideal for students interested in careers in hospitals, managed care organizations, health provider networks, hospitals, clinics, community-based organizations, public health agencies, pharmaceutical or other medical companies, research firms, non-profit organizations, government agencies or academia.
