Admissions - MS in Strength and Conditioning

The one-year Master of Science in Strength and Conditioning begins new cohorts in the summer. Classes for summer 2026 begin on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

A $50 non-refundable fee is required to apply. You may qualify for an application fee waiver. If you think you may qualify for a fee waiver, please contact the ENS Graduate office at ensgrad@buffalo.edu.

Admissions for this program is rolling.

  • Priority deadline of April 1
  • International applicants deadline by March 1

Eligibility Requirements and Pre-Requisites:

Applications are reviewed holistically. Minimum requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field (can apply while still in progress)
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Anatomy
  • Physiology

Application Materials:

  • Online application through UB Graduate School Application Manager (Slate)
  • Application fee ($50)
  • Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Resume
  • Statement of educational and career goals (~500 words)
  • TOEFL scores (international applicants only)

Note that GRE scores are not required and will not be considered in the admissions process.

Process:

Once your completed application is submitted, it will be reviewed by the admissions committee. After review, you will receive notice of an admissions decision.
