Intervention strategies include optimizing work-to-rest ratios and hydration practices.
Workers in the fields such as agriculture and construction are physically active for prolonged periods of time in extreme weather conditions such as high heat and/or humidity. They frequently complete their work across consecutive days, producing great exposure to the elements. Our goal is to study prevention and intervention strategies to maintain their job productivity while mitigating negative health consequences of extreme environments.
