Summary

Michelle Gimbar, DCN, RDN, CDN is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences at the University at Buffalo. A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) since 2016, she holds a Doctor of Clinical Nutrition from Rutgers University, where her research focused on supplement use among Division I and Division III athletes with an emphasis on third-party tested products. Her current work centers on women’s health, particularly nutrition during pregnancy, postpartum, and the management of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Her teaching and clinical interests integrate evidence-based nutrition and exercise principles to support lifelong health. Outside of her professional role, she enjoys swimming both in the pool and in open water!
