Summary

Vandermark is currently a clinical assistant professor at the University at Buffalo specializing in exercise science and athletic training.  She earned her master of science degree in exercise science and PhD in kinesiology at the University of Connecticut, and bachelor of science in athletic training from California University of Pennsylvania.

During her doctoral work, Vandermark worked for several years with the Korey Stringer Institute, primarily with outreach initiatives and research on thermoregulation and hydration. She spent four years as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Arkansas. There she was responsible for overseeing all aspects of clinical education for graduate athletic training students as the coordinator of clinical education. Her research interests center on clinical relevant aspects of thermoregulation and hydration, often with a focus on use by athletic trainers and other exercise professionals.
