Summary

Ryan Krzyzanowicz became the program director of the athletic training program at the University at Buffalo School of Public Health and Health Professions (SPHHP) in July 2017. 

Prior to joining SPHHP, Ryan spent six years at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) in North Adams, MA where he was the clinical education coordinator for the athletic training education program. In that role, Ryan was in charge of developing affiliation agreements, find and train preceptors, place students at clinical sites, and assist with program development. Ryan worked clinically with the dance company at MCLA where he was able to perform research collecting and documenting patient outcomes. Prior to MCLA, Ryan worked at Concord University in a dual role as an educator and head football athletic trainer.  In addition to his professional experience, Ryan also has many years of volunteer experience for the Commission on Accreditation for Athletic Training Education (CAATE). He is a site visitor for the CAATE and also serves on the CAATE Review Committee, which is comprised of about 16 athletic trainers in the nation.

Ryan earned his doctorate in athletic training (DAT) from the University of Idaho, his master's degree in athletic training education from Old Dominion University and completed his undergraduate education at Slippery Rock University.
